Curry Leaves Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Curry Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Bengal gram dal
  • 1 tbsp Urad dal
  • 5 Piece Dry Chile
  • 1/2 tbsp Asafoetida
  • Small Piece Tamarind
  • Salt required amount

Instructions

  • In a frying pan add 1 tbsp oil and when hot add the peanuts and fry until golden.
  • Then add the Urad dal and fry lightly.
  • Add dried chilies and fry over medium heat for a few minutes.
  • Then add well-washed curry leaves and fry.
  • Add Asafoetida powder and mix well. 
  • Mix small piece of tamarind and turn off the stove. 
  • after reduce heat add salt mix well and grind the core in a mixer, adding very little water. 
  • Heat a frying pan and with mustard oil and Urad dal and serve with idly, dosa, or rice.
