Is There More Ant Infestation in the Home Kitchen! How to Get Rid of Easily?

Introduction

Usually the biggest problem in the kitchen is that ants will start invading any food item. The ants will start to swarm even if a little rice is spilled or the sugar jar is not closed properly. You too will be using everything like ant powder and chalk piece. We know how to get rid of ant infestation at home with some simple items in our home.

Ants will start coming in other places except the place where the ants put the powder. Sometimes ant powder or chalk piece cannot be used if there are children in the house or in the kitchen where food is prepared. So we need to look for a natural way to repel ants at times like that.

Home products

Sugar products in particular attract ants more. So if food items like sugar spill, clean it immediately. However, if there is a small amount of biscuit or chocolate in the house with children, the ant infestation will be more. So some natural products to repel ants in such cases act as ant repellent.

Can you keep any food items in the house and bear the ant infestation for a while? Some natural products help us to prevent this. The long-lasting smell of these natural products does not catch on to ants. So it is safer to use these natural repellents to repel ants.

Keep the kitchen clean

Scattering of food will attract more ants. So wipe the kitchen well and keep it clean and store food items and desserts safely in airtight containers. If there is garbage in the house, dispose of it immediately. If you have pets in your home, wash and clean its utensils.

Hot water

You can pour boiling water over the anthill to repel the ants that are looking for sugary foods. This hot heat will kill the ants immediately. The anthills are very deep, so overall not all ants wander. But the ants will be prevented from coming out of that hole again.

Liquid Detergent

Mix glass cleaner and dishwashing liquid soap together and take in a spray bottle. Spray this soapy water where the ants come from. Ants do not tolerate the lingering smell of soap. The ants will run away. Wipe the area after the ants are completely gone.

Essential oils

Ants do not like the smell of essential oils. Add mint oil, tea tree oil, neem oil and cinnamon oil to water and spray on the ant infestation. It helps to repel mosquitoes and ants.

Pepper powder
