Sweet Corn with onion Samosa

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Maida flour
  • 1 cup Onion Chapped
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Corn
  • 1 piece Green chili
  • 1/4 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup Maida paste
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves Chapped
  • 1 tbsp Curry leaves Chapped
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil forfrying

Instructions

  • Stuffing for Samosa
    Heat oil (1 tbsp) in pan and add the chopped onion, green chilies, Ginger and Garlic paste (1 tbsp), Sweet corn (1/2 cup), cumin powder, Turmeric, Garam masala, red chili and salt, sauté for 5mins.
    Add Coriander and curry leaves turn off the heat. Set aside to cool.
  • How to make Samosa
    In a bowl add the Maida flour, salt, oil and add required water to from smooth and soft dough. It aside for 20 mins.
  • After 20 mins, divide the Samosa dough to 4 equal parts. Roll it to shaped even layer.It has to be medium thick.
  • Cut it in the center to make two parts. Make to the cone shape stick the edges with Maida paste. Fill the cone with corn and onion masala.
  • Apply the Maida paste on the edge. Make sure the Samosa is sealed well.
  • Heat a pan with oil for medium flame and drop the samosa fry until both sides become golden and crispy.
  • That’s it our healthy sweet corn and onion Samosa with all goodness.  Now the delicious Samosa is ready to eat.

Notes

How will make Madia paste?
Take bow add Madia 2 tbsp with some water to mix well. Now the Madia paste is ready to stick the edges.
